We are Currently Accepting New Patients!

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible when you begin your care. Below you will find information about what to expect when you get started with your chiropractic care here at Brookside Chiropractic along with our new patient forms.

What to Expect at Our Clinic

  • New Patient Visit - During your first visit, Dr. Salyers will have a consultation with you to gather information about past injuries, health issues and current symptoms you are experiencing. After the consultation, he will perform an exam to determine your range of motion, pain scale, and muscle strength or weakness and see if there are any other areas that may need attention that you are not aware of. Once the exam is complete, he will take X-rays. This visit usually takes approximately 45 minutes.

  • 1st Adjustment Visit - Dr. Salyers will show you your X-rays and go over his findings with you. He will address any questions you have concerning your X-rays and/or your first adjustment. Once you both have reviewed the X-ray, he will perform safe and specific adjustments to problem areas.

  • 2nd Adjustment Visit - Dr. Salyers will perform your adjustment and provide you with a copy of his specific plan of care as well as exercises you can do at home to help the healing process. This plan of care is specifically designed for your condition. It is important to follow it to receive the best possible results.

  • Typical Adjustment Visit - A regular adjustment usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. Dr. Salyers will ask you some questions about how you did after your last visit and what your pain level is. He will also ask you if you have any new symptoms.

Neck and hip pain. The very first adjustment from Dr. Slayers fixed my hip!! We are still working on my neck but it’s coming along. I will definitely keep coming here for maintenance. And April, his front desk person is so sweet and helpful!
